Abstract

The University of Minnesota School of Architecture can be understood through its investment in two particular areas. First, we focus on design grounded in critical representation (materials and media literacy, or drawing and making as a way of thinking), and second, in social engagement (ethically motivated work that strives to make the world a better place).
