ThermoregulationАннотация
Records the disastrous effects of a summer 1968 drought in the Old Crow area near the headwaters of the Porcupine River in Yukon Territory. Supply barge trips were curtailed; forest fires displaced the caribou migration route for decades to come. The summer fish catches were lowered; and supply of meat by government or hunting by members of the Vunta Kutchin people was required. Oil exploration on Crow Flats may be expected to interfere with traditional trapping grounds.Загрузки
