Author Biography

Gabrielle Lindstrom, University of Calgary, Werklund School of Education

Gabrielle Lindstrom is a PhD candidate in educational research with a specialization in Adult Learning. Although her dissertation research focuses on the interplay between trauma and resilience in the post-secondary experiences of Aboriginal adult learners, she has other diverse research interests ranging from micro-credentialing, meaningful assessment and the impacts of stress on the brain development of young children. She is currently working as an RA on a project that examines micro-credentialing through the use of digital badges to recognize educational development.
