Christine Leppard is a PhD Candidate in the Department of History at the University of Calgary. Her dissertation examines the I Canadian Corps and the complexity of waging coalition warfare in Italy, 1943-1944. She has published in the journal Canadian Military History, and is currently editing two books on the Second World War.
