Matthew S. Wiseman graduated with a Ph.D. in History from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2017. He is currently a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow with the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History, and the Department of History, at the University of Toronto. He has published original research on the history of military science in Canada during the early Cold War, and is currently writing the first full-length study of the scientific activities of the Canadian Defence Research Board in northern Canada and the Arctic between 1947 and 1975.
